PLEASE HELP:How can I make a FT245RL cable work to read and write!

I need some help as my cable wont work, after reading online I find the FT245RL is a direct replacement for the FT232RL which is a working cable. Can anyone offer any help with drivers or anything.

Thank you in advance. I will pay for someones help. Seriously.
Need to flash my ECU DTC for stupid emissions pass.
