Hello,

I'm having trouble with ignition retard on cylinder 3.

I have tried to swap the injectors, ignition coils, changed spark plugs with no luck... Cry

It would be great if somebody could tell me, what is possibly wrong?

I'm attaching CSV logs and ECUx screenshots.

Thanks in Advance,

Individual cylinders can knock?  Is there a problem?

Hello adam,

Don't know what you mean... Individual cylinders can knock sure... My question was what could be possibly wrong with that individual cylinder.

I don't get your question.  It's knocking.  Add fuel, less boost, less timing.

And I agree with adam, try recalibrating the obvious before you move onto any suspicion that components could be the issue..

did you ever think to reflash to stock and then record a log to see if anything is different to rule out whether or not its something that you possibly did wrong in your calibrations that are causing the symptoms your experiencing?

Hello royceV3PT,

I assume stock file would not work as I have upgraded the turbo to TD05h-16g.
I have calibrated another turbo upgraded(CT-20b) a3 with the same engine code but only with less km.
Air mass consumed by the engine is about the same @ about the same boost and here is the log from that vehicle. Smiley
As you can see ignition is not retarded at all.

Taking in consideration all mentioned above I assume that, something could be wrong with my hardware. But what?

Sure, none of you could not knew the background when writing your answers to me.

Still waiting for your opinion...

Regards,
