Hi Guys,

We're hiring an ECU Calibrator. Open to various levels of Bosch / Siemens experience, but you must have a solid foundation in tuning for power, MBT, reasonable / safe calibration and so forth.

Based in SLC, UT.

Work directly with ECU calibration tools, to develop and test engine and transmission calibrations. Measure results quantitatively using Dynamometer and actual acceleration results. Occasionally travel to sea level for testing or racing trips for product development and marketing.

  • Safely calibrate engines to create maximum horsepower
  • Calibrate engines to operate successfully in a variety of atmospheric conditions
  • Calibrate transmissions for better driveability and user experience
  • Work with transmissions to improve torque holding capabilities
  • Move existing calibrations to alternate versions of OE binaries using WinOLS or similar hex editing software
  • Troubleshoot and reverse engineer OEM calculations and routines which must be modified to eliminate trouble points
  • Read and comprehend complex technical documentation

I think your salary number is at least 2x too low for that.

Please do not ask me for tunes. I'm here to help people make their own.

Do not PM me technical questions! Please, ask all questions on the forums! Doing so will ensure the next person with the same issue gets the opportunity to learn from your experience.
