Hey guys,

Is this acceptable? or should the Cam adjustment B1 spec and Cam adjustment B1 act numbers be the same no exceptions?

Found that my cam adjuster/ timing chain was off by 1 tooth. Hopefully I can get this corrected soon. UGH

No way is your chain off. Those logs you posted are perfect.

As the rpm increased it appears as if the car is pulling timing as the Requested vs Actual are about 7 degrees off(Retarded). I replaced the VVT solenoid, the rings and the problem still remains. The timing mark was set on the crank at the T instead of the arrow. I used my adjustable cam gear to fix it, then it threw a correlation code. Lined up the marks again, pulled the valve cover, noticed the intake cams relationship to the exhaust cam is off. I don't have a picture but when I looked really closely I could see it clear as day.

If you're losing cam spec as the revs increase, then it's an oil pressure issue.

5.9% adjustment with actual and spec being +/- 0.5 on idle is perfect. If you were a tooth out, the spec vs actual would be miles out and the adjustment would be double digits.

I have over 100psi at 3000 rpm also those logs were before I realigned the timing marks and got a correlation code. I'll take a picture before i do the job. Im happy I didn't bend my ferrea  valves.....

Gman,

I have replaced the 3 rings, the control valve and reset the cam timing in the back of the head. I have checked the oil pressure I have over 90 psi at 3000 rpm. No cam correlation codes, no adjuster slow response codes. The car is bucking at part throttle between 3000- 5000 RPM. I made a log to show the timing drifting as load is applied. Any suggestions?
