I'm trying to read an ME7.5 ECU in a 1.8t. I can connect and read the ECU info just fine. When I go to pull the file off of it, I'm getting a memory validation error. I've verified that it's the stock tune by running the car on the dyno. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've verified that it's the stock tune by running the car on the dyno.

That means nothing, considering many aftermarket tunes have stock mode.

Boot mode. Bet you $100 it isn't stock.

Good to know. I'm coming over from the world of Subaru's so I'm spoiled with Cobb software... Haha. Am I able to flash a file over this one that is on here? Or does the ECU need to be bench flashed back once, then I can flash via OBD?

Depends if the ecu has a riser for the flash.

If it doesn't, you can flash over it in bootmode with a stock file.

You'll have to open the ECU case to make sure.

Ok, looks straight forward. Just to clarify, if it has the riser, I should be able to flash a stock file over the current one through the nefmoto flasher?
