I've been trying to figure this out myself but I'm stumped and I think I have already bricked two ECUs trying.  I'm trying to flash a file to add manual transmission capability after a 2002 Audi A4 4.2 swap but I'm now having issues with it.  So far I have managed to read and write 95040 disabling IMMO and I was able to write the attached file to my spare ECU but that's where the fun stopped.  I got a message saying that the write was successful but when I installed it in the car I had nothing and now I have no communication via Vagcom, Argdubs tool, or Nefmoto.

I still have communication with my good ECU (I can read both the ecu file and the eeprom) but I get a communication error when I try to write.  Please Help!

if 560AE is the ecu you flashed the 559D file on to, then the problem is very blatant.

also, just to mention, the 559D file in stock form will not work for any car that requires the CEL to be on with ignition on for inspection. the CEL function with key on must be enabled.

I've tried to flash the original file right back as well with the same outcome, the stock file is what was used when I made the logfile.
