I have a Audi A4 Avant quattro 1.8ts BEX engine ym2004 made 2003.11. Eu model/swedish

I dont want to unscrew the ecu to see what label it has. Any other way

Someone else must have tuned this engine before.

And if possible... anyone want to share a Stage 1 Tune..

You wont get ready made flash , Stage 1 should be pretty easy.

You need to take off the ecu cover atleast to see what kind of ECU you have lol. Or hook up VCDS and open the engine control to see model number.

If you dont know memory layout the 1024kb one will read 512 anyway, it will just put blank 512kb after the end, which you would know if you did some reading Smiley

But because I didn´t find any info on the web about the ecu memory.. I thought that its best to do some writing here...

hmm. second thougt... maybe I crack it open !



Then I need some helping tuning the stuff... only stage 1 or 1.5 tune.   Did a SAAB 8 years ago... but I think alot is different in this audi ECU..

Hi
Chose memory layout bb800 and pushed the button "Full read flash"

and did on on bb400

..and now the car don´t start

Get  P0602 "Control Module programin error/malfunction

WTF.. I did only read the computer!

HELP ASAP  PLZ

Crap if it´s bricked ... but I took a chanced and did a flash with the same memorymap I used when I did a read!

To flash or crap....First time flashing my Audi..  flash took about 5 min ...turn of key waited 20 sec turn on 1 min for tbp and then off again and then on and start....And it did start..  And oboy did I smile =))


Hard way to find the right memorymap...

No what the heck definition file should I use in turnerpro (free)... whats the different in the payed version (RT)?
