  • 4.163L V8
  • Bosch MS 980cc
  • 4bar base
  • Previous injectors were Bosch 630cc (KRKTE: .058xx)
Calculated value for the given pressure was .032xx
Set to .038xx and  partial LTFT are still calling for almost 16% and 19% more! This would result in around .045xx

I'm guessing it's time for FKKVS fixer?

If theoretical KRKTE does not work, fixing it via FKKVS is probably the worst possible "solution".

If your trims are off by more than 15% with the correct theoretical KRKTE something else is very, very wrong.

I completely agree, hence why I posted. I'm looking for ideas. I'm going to wire in an electric fuel pressure gauge so I can log it.  But I imagine if that were a problem injector duty would certainly show it.... Hmm

Injector duty "shows" it when the ECU requests way more fuel than you'd expect due to.. drum roll.... trims Tongue

well here's a shot of fra_w (RED) vs fr_w (BLUE) vs throttle and another with injector duty. Maybe you're right...

What other mechanism would the ECU use to increase injector time if the O2 sensors say lean?

I dunno but I'll read thru the FR and find out.

The reason I posted this is because lambda control (fr_w) is taking away fuel, especially under WOT. Completely contradicts the work fra_w is doing which I understand happens BEFORE lambda control kicks in.
