MK4 Jetta 2.0 hex edit

I am trying to disable the engine speed/ wheel speed check for cruise control. I did a 5th gear swap and now cruise will not work in 5th gear. I do alot of long distance driving and really need cruise control to work in 5th gear. Thanks in advance.

You need to modify the NVQUOTxxx variables to correctly detect gear... If gear is detected as 0 cruise control is not supposed to work.
