I am hitting a road block with removing the Immo from a Simos 8.3 or 8.4 ecu . Could you point me in the right direction . I very little experience with the Simos ecu and need help or if you want to make some money and can do the immo delete please PM me .

I didn't know their was a tool that could read the eeprom from the ecu. What tool are you using? Magpro x17 doesn't offer anything except flashing virtual reads for this ecu.

Bflash and trasdata for instance provide full boot reads, trasdata with 2 blocks that are encrypted (for "safety" ahem), bflash as a totally transparent full read. There must be other tools that do this too, but I have no idea what they are.
