Whats up guys,
SO im a super noob to this software and tuning for my b5 S4, 6 speed
Im curious if some one can shed some light on the following.

1- Im using tuner pro RT Registered version, with Me7 Check sum and Nefmoto for flashing.
I want to make sure I'm setup properly and have everything correct so I don't run into major issues.

2- Im running SRM K04's with 72 lb injectors, fuel rails, larger inlets, 85 mm maf and water methanol.
Currently am tuned on a 93 octane file.
Want to go to E85 file, don't know where to start.
If anyone can shed light I would appreciate it

UM why?

Anyway E85 aint easy for a noob, you need to adjust the whole fueling tables etc. Also gonna have cold start issues if you dont setup things correctly and so forth.

UM why?

Anyway E85 aint easy for a noob, you need to adjust the whole fueling tables etc. Also gonna have cold start issues if you dont setup things correctly and so forth.

Why is there a problem with that? Not trying to be sarcastic either, just want to understand why going E85 is a bad thing with my setup?

youll need to start with calculated injection quantity, id add 40% to start. cold start tables, timing, and a bunch of other small changes will need to be made.

There is no problem(e85 is gucci), however I think your injectors / setup are ridicolously oversized, anyway, E85 requires about 33% more fuel injected than gasoline , as Marty said. There are couple threads about e85 , use the search bar on the left.

75lb is not overkill for E85 IMO

75lb is not overkill for E85 IMO

800 cc for 2.7t with ko4, meh, I guess it gives a bit of breathing room or maybe even a little bit of upgrade potential.

This is usually also done with old OE FPR which can’t hold pressure reducing IDC even more. To be absolutely safe with some headroom 1000cc is to recommend.

800cc+(4bar fpr) is good for 650-700~ hp on gasoline generously , with 40-50% more fuel req you still have about 400 hp. Is that setup going to make 400 hp ?

Anyway the bigger issues could be if the injectors are e85 qualified, I am not 100% sure but I heard some stories it corroding a few non e85 recommended injectors , how much of that is true?

errr E85 on k04s can easily do 400hp.

Hell, you can do 450+ on 91oct. You've been stuck in 1.8t/2.0t land too long.

Do you know if anyone has a e85 base file with k04’s.
I tried to search but no luck.
