Tuning
« on: October 19, 2019, 09:28:32 AM »
Hi guys. I'd like to ask for help.
I read my car's ECU with KESS v2 and I want a bit more horsepower and torque and wish the car was more dynamic than it is now. Can someone help me find the maps and how do I change them? I'm still a beginner and would like to learn tuning. We have WinOLS and ECM Titanium +26000 driver. Which software would be better for me than beginners?
Here is the scanned file.
The car is a vw Passat CC 2.0 TSI 200Hp.
Thank you

My god. Read a lot before You try write file and kill Your car. Software don't do this work better than You. Editing turbo benzin is not simple thing like diesel engine. Is something like science. You can't rely on the program. You must know what maps You need edit and how to make power, knows how set up A/F, ignition and other to make power not heat. You must lern a lot before You edit and write Yours tune for do logs.

I think that would be the first step,

Look up WinOls begginers guide to get the basics and throw titanium away.

I have found WinOLS to use, but it is only for diesel cars, I can't find directions for gasoline, so I need help finding the maps that need to be edited.
