Hi guys,

Today I tried to "patch" my 032DK ecu with my self-made asm code. The main reason was to learn something new. After I flashed my ecu with patch binary engine started normally but after couple of seconds ecu bricked itself. I tried disconnecting baterry but it didnt help. I'll try to flash it in boot mode but now its like -10 degree celcius and 3am so I'll do it in two days. But one thing don't let me sleep now. Is that possible to brick ECU forever with wrong asm patches, I mean something like damaging physically anything in circuit.

Extremely unlikely, but possible.

The #1 thing you can blow out is the ignition drivers.

Flashed original bin back and ecu is alive, surprisingly I didnt even had to do it in bootmode because ecu partially booted after being powered off for a night and was able to get into bootmode by obd.

What you try to change, and where you put your code in BIN? If that is not secret?
