I have a small problem with TunerPro. When I do a change in a map and click Commit changes, it doesn't seem to stick. The map window closes but the next time I open it, my change has been forgotten. I looked for help on the TunerPro site but could not find anything there. Am I missing something?

In the rows and columns make sure the address step is set to 2 for 16bit maps and 1 for 8bit. You've probably got -4 in there at the moment

Thanks, but that wasn't it. Map data is presented correctly in TunerPro, I just can't save any changes. For now, I have to do the actual changes in a hex editor, then open and save the file in TunerPro to get the checksum right.

Adress step is 2, and it's a 16 bit map. (LDRXN)

Cool. So can I just check then you are clicking the red x in the map window to commit changes to the map and then doing "file" "save" to save the .bin file?

It should then if you have the Mtx plugin installed say checksum
Checked.

Well, that is what happens, except that when I click to save the bin file I get the message: "No checksums corrected! Are you shure you modified this file?"

are you by chance using a "high limit" and "low limit" in the xdf entry of that LDRXN?

i did this earlier, with my high limit set to 160 for everything to look nice.. all changes i did in tunerpro above 160 was IGNORED.. very annoying untill i figured out why, and as you pointed out, hex editing them worked just fine Grin

also, go into the XDF header settings and alter the field called "Bin size" to: 1000000
im 100% sure this will solve your problem.
