hi,

i fucked up a 8N0906018 while soldering.
is there any ecu to use with the same file?

for now i used 8L0906018N in the car but throttle is not powered up

i had to provide power to pin 117 because 018N does not send power out.  Huh

From my litle experiance with 1024 kb ECU, they are all croshflashbe with file that have same bootloader version( you can check it with Me7check for botloader version)
Schould be same for 512 kb ECUs

For converting it to wideband you need power to pin 121, so the throotle can work. If you interested in conversion to wideband, I can explain you detail what to do

Problem is not related to wideband. The 2nd ecu 018N is narrowband too

Then pre wideband  Grin  but it have ECM relay, thrigered by pin 21 witch suply pin 121 on ECU. You can add this relay, or try crossflash your file on 018N  Roll Eyes

On bench I have sucessfuly crosflashed 8L0909018 K(one with ECM relay) to  8N0906018 AB(witch doesent have ECM relay)  I will try it later or tomorow in car, and come back here with results

This method doesent work, 8N0906018AB ECU doesen't start ECM releay conected to pin 21 .
It has 8L0909018 K software, and the ECM relay DTC, but no output to relay, and no throottle respnse

So for you maybe is good idea to fit ECM relay on that newer ECU
