Crap. thanks for reminding me.

I will try to have that before the next release..

right now I'm having problems with java on MacOS... deploying java apps is a huge pain now :/

Really, what is needed is a general user-definable expression thingy ... kinda like visuallogger has ...

this was an open source project that I stole the code from.  you can probably easily port this code to java.

0.9r6.0 released:

* Add option for verbose, do better at deducing units, don't add any units to axis if none found
* MAF in kg/hr (issue 16)
* Add note to show that rpm/mph is only used when VehicleSpeed isn't present
* Support using VehicleSpeed for power/torque calcs if it exists
* Add comment about how to ignore gear
* Handle spaces in JAVA_HOME correctly
* Look for plain "TPS" to detect throttle plate
* Handle German VCDS logs
* Check array bounds
* Fix typo in Eff injector axis menu and calc
* Add csvs so we can diff them when we do a new build
* Properly detect if target rt.jar exists
* Target RT back to 1.6 so we still have MacOS support
* Makefile changes, Volvo logger changes
* First pass at volvo logger support

Thanks for the speed based calculations!

I am feeling that power n tq calculations are more off now with latest ecux.
Looking through my logs and comparing too my dyno.
We can say, it was more accurate before based on fats, then now.
Car was dynoed on very low reading mustang, showing 413whp.
Logs based on fats with older ecu x version showed 405-410whp.
Now the same logs with latest ecu x shows 380whp.
What's up?

WHOA.

Ugh. I was suspicious of the speed sensor, it looks like it is pretty far off ... I will make an option next release for either a speed correction factor, or an option to fall back to RPM Sad

I was afraid of this, but was too lazy to check it.

Hi

How does the power/torque calculation work ? It seems to be more accurate with older version with my car  Huh

Yea. That was a bad idea. Remove speed from your logged variables and it should fall back to RPM.

What parameters (vehicle, engine) need to be entered correctly to display correct torque numbers in ECUxPlot?

Maybe someone already has put together correct profile/inputs for my cars:
- B6 1.8T, 6 spd, stock MAF, 550cc
- B6 1.8T, 5 spd, RS4 MAF, 550cc
- C5 2.7T, 6 spd, 85mm MAF, 750cc
- C5 2.7T, auto, stock MAF, stock injectors and 550cc injectors

Is there a way to open and display Innovate LM2 logs?

I have a csv here with Session ID, time, LM_2_O2, LM_2_RPM, Boost (in Volt)

Request feature:
Text file that is parsed on startup for RPM "aliases".
I use ecuxplot for great many logs - BMW, Subaru, Mitsu etc etc, and I have to go and edit most text files to change the name of the RPM to "RPM" for ecuxplot to pick it up.

For example, a file like "aliases.txt":
RPM;label1;label2;label3;label4
TPS;label1;label2;label3;label4
IAT;label1;label2;label3;label4

Then run the translation when the file is loaded based on the aliases file.

Absolutely 100% doable... i'd really like some sort of loadable equation definition file too, for complex calcs, but I agree an "aliases" would be an excellent start. Much of it is hardcoded and really should be easily extensible.
