Question on MAX-Load vs Engine Load vs Engine Load Requested.

From reading the wiki and some other posts about torque monitoring and when either of the two systems intervene i need to keep requested torque above the other two. What i don't understand is what perfmax_w vs rl_w is...

I can target 143 for instance on rlsol_w and perfmax_w is at 86 while rl_w is at 100.

Firstly, is this ok? its hitting target timing and AFR targets... but before i bumped the Engine load requested up it was pulsing like it was hitting a limit then backing itself off through the pull.


Max rl_w ive seen so far is 106
Max perfmax_w ive seen is 90
Max requested is w/e i set it at.

Just making sure if im not doing this right someone pokes me good so i can fix my current thinking process. Thanks in advance!

Any Chance you can comment on the other portion though. I have KFMIRL which is logging as Requested Engine Load.. its mapping directly to what i put in.

Then on KFMIOP i have it set to 100. do i just need to make sure the KFMIRL is always more?

What do you mean "set to 100"? The output of KFMIOP??

Yeah the right hand column of it at WOT its 100 now instead of 80's. Torque limiter. is 7.1 not a 3d map?

So you think the output of IOP is compared with the output of IRL?

Okay? Even though I just said that is has nothing to do with your issue / actual question. You need to look at the wiki more.

I did i was more concerened about what that actually was then how the 2-3 mingled with each other. I put the car on the dyno and i figured it out there. Thanks for the help! appreciate it. Car ended up having a bad tiptronic and a stuck open flapper.

Back to the dyno again in a week or so when its been modified and fixed.
