Hello, I've been reading thru the forum and trying to learn. I need a cable to read and write to my pdc module which has the "defect" error.  I think I understand the procedure I just need the correct cable.

So, the thing I haven't been able to find out is if these KKL cables work with cars after 2004 (which every seller of these cables state in their advertisement). Am I missing something here? Can I just buy a galletto cable instead? Like f.x. this: https://sklad66.com/cms/Galletto-1260-EOBDII-ECU-Flasher.html (it's about $30, I have bought from this site before and they are legit..)

I do have a premium clone vag hex, but I don't want to jeopardize it if I can just buy a relative cheap new cable to use for this purpose.

Sorry if I have misunderstood which cable does what, I'm completely new to this (other than scanning with vcds software).
