So I've been looking around at the various places to buy EV14 injectors from, and I found a guy on ebay who claims to sell a kit that comes with the harness adapters.  However, his listing says they are modified to be single tip, and he's the only factory doing it etc.  What is this single tip modification, and what makes it different from just running the EV14 with just the harness adapters?

Here is the guys listing:

I'm skeptical. Stock injectors are dual cone.

Look at our intake valve setup; you do NOT want a single cone spray pattern.

So the EV-14s are 8 shooters and the stock are 2 shooters and this guys is a 1 shooter?  I thought the improved atomization was due to the 8 hole design.. Ughhhh now I have to put off ordering injectors until I can figure this out.

Official response from the seller:
The fuel droplets are much finer as fine as a 26lb Bosch. Finer droplets result in better atomization, better combustion, better tuning & overall performance. Just a nicer piece & wrll worth the few extra dollars. Try them if you dont like them I will send you standard 52lbers & refund you the difference in cost. Thank you!

So, I guess this guy thinks their so great he'll swap me out with the regular ones if I'm not satisfied...?
Does what he's saying make sense?

52# are 630 cc/min @ 4-bar, so 26# would be about 315 cc/min @ 4-bar.  why would you run to run 315 cc injectors when the stock ones are 350 cc?  something doesnt' add up here it seems to me

He's saying it has the ability to spray down to a 26 lb, so obviously he's hinting that the regular ev14's run fat at idle or what?

Read the description closely.

They are 52#, all the are saying is "For instance this 52lb injector has a fuel droplet as small as a 26lb injector.". I found it doubtful that you'd want to gamble with injectors. Just get the ones with 8 holes and you're guaranteed top notch performance. One tip... dunno. Maybe. If I had a choice, I would swap my 1000cc one tippers to 8 holers in a heartbeat.

Just thought I'd throw this out there, that I can get EV14's as cheaply as you will find, and I'm willing to hook nefmoto'ers up if interested. Standard 52lb, 650cc, 750cc, 850cc, 1000cc (the same ones I'm running in my car). Just shoot me a PM if you're interested.
