 Hello,
I need some advice. I changed the turbo on my BFB engine (K03-0029) to BEX turbo (K03-0073), I also have the injectors. I tried to crossflash BEX file onto my ecu and it accepts it, but the problem is that the immobilizer blocks it. How could I solve this issue? I don't really want to remove the immobilizer.

You cant, only I can send you my epprom from BEX than you can adapt ECU.
But BEX power is in cold air and agresive ignition. Even at stock map and 95 octane on summer you wonr have full power.
So it ia far more better to tune your BFB file

Okay, I see. I may have to learn how to do basic tuning then. Problem is I don't really know what XDF to use and what tables to look at. I don't want anything extreme yet, only something similar to the bex tune, since I have the injectors and turbo.
I also only have the stock smic, which I will probably change later on. It also probably helps that it isn't so hot here all the time.

Thanks  for the  help so far. Can't seem to find a XDF that works with my file. May have to pay someone to tune it for me. But I will keep searching and reading here.

Just to check, before i flash the file. I think I have found the tables i wanted changed. I have changed the following tables, from BEX file to BFB; LDRXN,TVUB,KRKTE, KFZW and KFZW2. That should be the difference between BEX and BFB?

FKKVS also if they are different.
I sugest you to keep KFZW from BFB if you are not planing to use 98-100 octane fuel. And add about 10 to LDRXN in whole range
A don't forget to do checksum before uploading file

Okay, noted. I will see what I decide to do with KFZW, currently I run the car on 98 octane. I also looked up how to the checksum before and got it working  Smiley
