I have a question about the coolant temperature in a4 b7 1.8t bfb. As you know, the thermostat is electrically controlled (heater) and unfortunately begins to open only at 100 degrees Celsius, this is too high temperature and when charging 2.2 bar, knocks appear with already low ignition 10 degrees ... When logging at lower temperatures coolant (about 85-90 degrees Celsius) and the same top-up you can get 15 degrees without knocking

So the question for you is which map is responsible for opening the thermostat earlier? I tried to mount a thermostat with 2.0 tfsi 87 degrees but the motor handle bothers. Adaptation from B5 is too extensive and I would prefer to avoid it

IN bex file is it at 0x1B1A8
conversion factor (X*0.75)-48

Y axis is speed kmh, X axis is rpm

And in what address is the moment when the heater starts to turn on? Because in what you provided is the dependence of the thermostat opening support on rpm and speed. But thanks a lot for the info

This is desired temperature, not actual termostat opening (BDW. y axis is load)
You can try to figure out when FAN starts by looking in FR
