Hello guys,

I have a friend with a custom ALS code in his GTI and got the chance to get the file.

1. Can some1 verify if this is somehow correct?

2. Is there a way to add this code to other SW version? Maybe some1 can explain a little bit just the code just like in Me7.5 als code.

Big thanks Smiley

Attached are the files with and without code.

P.s. don't judge the tune. he bought the car like that, IMHO is crap remap.

Still a DIY board

try to find the maps, try to understand, try to transfer to other file/swversion

dont waste other users time, dont post commercial tunes

ask specific questions to help yourself and dont be stupid and ask "hey can YOU do all of this for ME for free"

first of all I did not ask for someone to do it for me. I only asked for someone to verify if the code is correct, and if YES, to someone explain a little the code. like what is the call function and so on Smiley

second, i am not good with assembly and looking to learn.

lastly, i did not say who tuned the car and honestly I don't really care. I just told you guys not to use the file as a tuning example or so.

better try to help not to make useless comments Smiley

answer is simple: if the als did the job in the car then the "custom code" is working  Roll Eyes

yes it does the job. the point here is not if it's working, but if it is implemented in a good way.

also, i have tested the code in other SW version (the one I have) but it does not seem to do the job, even tho all the code was implemented in the same addresses

meaning it does not stop at a certain RPM and shoot flames, but on decel it goes for a big pop.

so i was thinking there some call functions to some other variables that may be in different locations because of different SW

p.s.  as I said, I don't want someone to do it for me, I want to understand what's going on Wink

So you are searching for help on a file where you did try to transfer it to.

This would have been a better first post.

Probably yea a better post haha.

Yea, I am somehow try to understand the code in order to transfer it on other SW. I am not home now, but I will upload the code today and go through it. Maybe I missed something.

I remember the addresses:

7cd20 to 7cd9f - the als code
afec0 to afec3 - probably call function
10c31c to 10c31f - probably some other call function

I think there are missing variables (like RPM threshold, etc)

Please don't post commercial bins.

If you want to post disassembled (and commented ASM) that's fine.

that's kinda racist ^_^

@nyet: if I would have known disassembly I would not be here now bro

IMHO idk if that even is a commercial tune or just some guy's poor tune attempt
