really new to this just trying to figure some things out. after i flash my bin, then i start the car and idle goes up and down (hunting?) from about 600 to 1000 rpm and just keeps doing it. what should i log with?

Messing with idle ignition timing could cause this, atleast happened to me. |

and stick with ME7 unless you want to go standalone? which is completely unneccessary and a total waste of time considering ME7 is a format which was and by many respects, still is to this day, ahead of its time. Its a beautiful system and you should have no problem once you get the hang of it. nyet has earned the right to be as "condescending" as he wishes.. Its not going to change any time soon. So man up and deal with it and show respect because he could actually be an asset to you in many ways regarding your venture into tuning.

Yes I understand he's an asset. I have been following for awhile. But I'm sorry, you get what you give. What your saying is, because he's good at tuning, that gives him the right to treat people who are trying to learn like garbage? Talk down to them? No im sorry. I was raised different. As far as disrespect, there was none, we are men, I was giving what I was getting, that what its all about lol.

You must be completely delusional. You spam the forum with a few post, dont read the stickies (forum etiquette) and when one of the guys that run the forum correct you you get mad? Lol hes a reality check bub nye has done more for this forum as a single person then 99% of any forum members. So if you think disrespecting one of the guys that paved the way is going to get you any place your nuts. well considering the amount of threads and diy's on this forum (also other places) that you could have used to answer your own thoughts with, by all means they can say what they want. i have had my fair share of comments regarding my dumb questions when i look back at them and say "damn all it took was a couple more searches to find what i needed. now i look like a dumbass that everyone remembers as that dumbass and doesn't want to help because it seems i am looking for handouts, not the help." |
