Hi.
I did dsg swap on 1.8t mk 1 quattro TT.
But now my speedometer doesn't work. As far as I know, that's because dsg has no analog speed sensor...And it uses signal that comes via CAN.
The question is, if it is possible to recode/edit EEPROM of my instrument cluster, to make it get signal via CAN.

The instrument cluster is Magnetic Marelli M73 D14

There is no option for changing cluster eprom to read speed from CAN - you can try to connect analog output from ABS/ESP to cluster or create some sort of can/analog connverter

I made that change too. you have to change the mechatronics for a golf 5. everything works apart from the reverse light.

Use an Arduino Nano and MCP2515 to get VSS from CANbus, and then generate an signal to the cluster.

you can try to connect analog output from ABS/ESP to cluster

On my A3 I was not able to find this output on the ABS module. On the wiring diagram, I found the possible pin, that on some cars goes to navigation system, but on my car, there is no output.

it comes out of the gearbox but you have to change hardware, your hw does not give a speed signal. your hw from vsignal via can
