Tryed to flash my TT APX ecu (ME7.1 I think )  using bmw impa cable but Nefmoto Ecuflasher does not recognize cable.
I use the same cable with ME7loger to make logs and goes perfec. This is normal?  Anyone  used  wiht bmw impa cable using Nefmoto Ecuflasher with success?
Do i need to buy Mpps cable to flash?

Thanks in advance.

Nef flasher requires an FTDI based cable. This is explicitly mentioned throughout the documentation, readmes, and the various FAQs here.

K+DCAN works and they're all FTDI.

can you use those K+DCAN IMPA cables with FTDI Stated above for boot mode to do Immo off.?

Using the DOS based Argdub's programs?

I'm trying to confirm my setup, as i have done some A6 2.7T ECUs in boot mode couple years ago, and can't remember which cable i used.

I'm having a hell of time getting a 01 A6 4.2L ECU with ME7.1.1 in boot mode on the bench to remove Immo.

Thanks
