alright so i just put my ecu in bootmode and turned the immo off , used me7check, then flashed it back...  then i flashed a bin onto the ecu... stuck it in my car and had no mil light... also couldnt connect with vcds... so took the ecu out and tried connecting with nefmoto... nothing... then tried bootmode with galleto 1260 and i keep getting bootmode inactive... i tried uninstalling all the drivers to  the ftdi cables and still bootmode inactive... did i just totally fry the ecu

Ok I just tried a 2nd ecu with the galleto cable and boot mode and was able to take a read… does this mean the other ecu is totally fucked?

Did you flash the same part number on?  Or just a random file?

You're doing bootmode wrong, should work fine.

this would be  backup that im trying to get squared away...
i took the ecu from my car and read it , which has a nef stage 1 on it.... i flashed that file on to the back up ecu, so yes just random

If I just try to connect to the ecu in galleto with
“Benzine” it crashes the program

galletto 1260 works very well on me7.5. do you have an original cable or kkl? have you grounded pin 24 for bootmode? set your com port correctly ....?

some ecus need to get pin 121 powered in order to bench flash

I pulled the eeprom data and flashed it back with IMMO off. So I know I’m am doing boot mode correct.

tried using the me7_90540 again and cant even access it... so something is definitely corrupted? here is what i used the first time to immo off and this time is  a no go

how do i post my .bin so you guys can check it out?


im thinking the .bin i used was not compatible with ecu
