Just wanted to inform you about using soft launch with 8E0909518M ecu.

When seting TNMXH to its max (655.350 s) and driving above its limit for that long, it will cut off the fuel.

Had mine set to 3000rpm (since fwd). Tested in a higway one night with no traffic and it did cut off the fuel.
Just turned the key off/on once and driving continued.

I am also FWD, mine is set to 4,200 to avoid what you experienced....to cope with the loss of traction I also did boost by gear. 90% in first gear helped a ton.

Yeah, I'm just tring to find the maps for "boost on gear"... TMMIBGR and VMIBGR... Not sure about the locations.
