I have this 557P ECU from by AEB A4. I don't know anymore what tune was on there. IIRC the AEB ECU were literally 'chipped'. Back then I was in contact with Giac, got a decent tune from them (quite aggressive stage 2).
Can someone tell by looking at the photos what 'chip' might be on this one? Or can I read out with Nefmoto and then someone can tell?

you wont be reading that ecu with nefmoto or any other software. nefmoto is me7 only and that ecu is m5.9.2. if you really wanted to you could remove the chip and dump it in a chip burner but i wouldnt waste my time. you can write to the ecu using mpps

If you are in the market for a tune and would like the ease of downloading and flashing a dyno tested tune for a fair price check out https://instatune.sellfy.store/

Thanks. I remember Giac soldering chips on for tuning. Can someone tell if that is a Giac (or other aftermarket) chip?

I have 2 other 557P, those were flashed with MPPS (Daz initially, I think later Mirza), I forgot how they performed. Only wrote down 18 psi, readiness checked and 'tune outs'. So assume stage 2 tune. Don't have a car anymore to test them.

Confirmed: have 3 557P.
- "Stage 2 MPPS Readiness 2nd 18 psi tune outs" (assume Mirza)
- "stage 2 MPPS Readiness 18 psi tune outs" (assume Mirza, same as above?)
- Chipped Giac stage 1 or stage 2 (Daz had this one to see what can be done; decided to leave as is)
