Hello everyone

In the midst of trying to get my TT cluster swapped over to a new unit that doesn't have failed stepper circuits.

I have managed to read my ECU PIN from the existing units in the car, the pin works on the cluster - so when i make the swap I can use this for the adapation.

My issue is that i cannot find the pin from the replacement cluster - even with Vagcommander - I can grab a dump (MAgneti MArelli - Direct), but no clue where to look. I have attached the dump here (labelled as IMMO New, original bin attached also), if anyone can assist with the pin that would be much appreciated.

My last hope is to test clip the eeprom and read direct if need be.

Well have to say massive thanks for the help!

Just out of my own curiosity - where in the bin file was the (0)2760 pin number found? I'd like to understand where is was meant to be looking and if I even came close.

Thankfully the (0) 0109 pin was the one my ECU told me and was confirmed to work - this just solidifies the result, and means the dump file pulled correctly!

Thanks.

@Byront

Which version of VAG Commander did you use to pull these bin files?  Also what kind of cable are you using?

I am trying to get the bin from my "new" cluster with no results via VAG Commander 2.5 with a Ross-Tech HEX+CAN cable.  I was able to pull something, but it appears to be corrupt/incomplete.

Thanks,
-C

I use use vag tacho 5.0 to change mileage and still haven't used it to program keys yet but i will... I use me7_95040.exe in command line to read the immo and flash it... An use eeprom_04.exe to read and modify the immo file works great spent hours learning how to use them efficiently but worth it...
