I'm pulling this from my thread over on AZ. I've been trying to figure out what tune I have (installed a boost gauge and ran some logs indicating about 15-17psi peaks...)

So I decided to try pulling the bin with the ECU Flasher and then to compare that bin to a stock file. I used Tunerpro to try and compare tables, but haven't been able to spot any differences. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Extra info:
I've got a T-box
Read with the 29F800BT mem layout (not sure this was the correct one to use)
Compared to a stock M-Box file
AZ Thread http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/385731-Ran-Some-Logs...

Sorry everyone, I'm new to all of this...

I did a compare on a factory mbox file and found lots of changes. I don't have any maps defined in winols to easily spot things. I did however notice things like desired engine load are different which would certainly change boost pressure.

Use the difference tool to compare the stock bin against the one you pulled from your ECU.

Ah, there they are! Now on to more reading to start figuring all this stuff out. Does this tune look familiar to anyone? I tried pulling it up in the Winols but it said it was "already modified" and wouldn't import the file (tuner right protection?).

Does this tune look like any of the shelf tunes available? Or am I dealing with something custom?

if i read that correctly you are comparing a T box to an M box?  That wont work, get a stock T box .bin to compare too, if you need help finding maps, look at the addresses in the .xdf file, and then look in that general area with a hex editor doing a comparison.

Yeah, I used a M Box file (I don't have a stock T-box file on hand, does anyone have one available for comparison?)

Would what turboskipper found in the engine load maps still distinguish a modified tune though? At this point, I really just want to know if I've got a stock map or not.

Ya, my bad. I did not realize you had a tbox. So not sure if that lines up or not.

Is there anyone on here that can compare to a stock T-Box file for me? I really just want to know if I've got a stock flash or not...

Alright, ran the difference tool on the t-box file you linked to with the bin I pulled from my ECU and Tunerpro just stalled. Push search, no results come up, but then try to click anything and the program stops responding. I'm guessing this is just a software glitch when comparing two identical bins? Anyone have any insight?
