Help need to read pin from 8n2920980A From 2002 Audi TT have tried using vag commander,
But the pin it gave me doesn’t work in VCDs  I did a read with vag com  file attatch not sure if its read it properly or not.

dump is bad. also, be very careful before you brick that cluster.

Think i got the correct pin from the ecu for my cluster in the car "5713", file attatched only trouble is, I will not be able to retrieve pin on second hand dash i have bought to replace it, what is the best way to read skc from th ie second hand instrument cluster? got vcds full ver, ebay vag commander and a Chinese car prog.

i use carprog on them. it is safest. allows for full backup.

Actually, that original dump was not bad. The SKC (0x1651 = 05713) is the 2 bytes immediately before AUZ5Z0AN160004 in the dump.
