Hi all!

has anyone experienced, this mod on Marelli ECU?

I found a bit that seems similar to the KRKTE on BOSCH ECU, on marelli ECU it's named as KECH (scale factor for fuel contribution)

KRKTE is expressed in % / ms

KECH is expressed in mg / cc / ms

Has anyone already done this MOD on this Marelli's ECUs?

This ECU has a very strange operating Logic.
I have done stage 3 with td04 , but I do not like it as fiat 1.4 T-Jet with Bosch ECU.
I am searching for the solution ( I need for 620cc injectors) i will let you know

on tjet which has me7.9.10 ecu, that injectors need fkkvs adjustment.

i can help with KECH for you on 8gmf, linearising injectors but i didnt try to adjust like fkkvs yet on these ecus. there is a map called TBAIRCANTURBO which is for "Table for the air flow through the enjector tee, function of tank pressure and Enjector Tee inlet air flow" maybe that can be the catch for like fkkvs there

This thread has already helped me with a big injector Abarth we have here, so I will make my small contribution to keep it going. Perhaps one day it will be a complete 8GM reference since one doesn't really exist.

KECH is located in the "KCAN" folder, and seems to be for consumption reporting. I tested this on an Abarth with 550cc injectors by leaving everything stock and removing 50% from the KECH value (similar to what you would do for the same scale injectors in KRKATE). This did nothing for fuel trims, which remained at 1.3 K02ADAP value and 1.1 K02 (adaptive and correction respectively). I went back in and returned KECH to stock, then proceeded to half the table CINJ_DPREOffsTBL. This is the offset correction table for the injectors. Right off the bat, both lambda corrections are now sitting at 1.0 and 1.04 respectively under varying loads (other than WOT).

TBAIRCANTURBO which is for Table for the air flow through the ejector tee (note ejector, not "enjector"). This table shows tank ventilation airflow through the venturi at the air intake, not injector flow. This can be logged at QAIRCANTURBO_MG with VehiCAL

UPDATE: TBINJQBCORRGAIN is very crudely the equivalent to FKKVS. Once trims were in line at idle using CINJ_DPREOffsTBL I was able to take care of the rest and get everything within 5% across the board. There is obviously more to this injector puzzle than the 2 maps I've mentioned, but it's been good to me so far doing it this way.

As always, I will continue to update this with more findings and corrections.

I should add that this is all thanks to VehiCAL. As always, good logging is the key to all tuning mysteries. Thanks prj.

Bill
