Hi all,my question has little to do with chiptuning but, How can I find comprehensive information about electric vehicle conversion?

First you need to find out, is it legal? You want the car on the roads? Any rules you need?
Then you need to learn about the systems.
Whats an Inverter? Converter? Why a OBC? Is the motor AC or DC? Why does the car use AC?, what batterys are used? How does those work?
I donno how much you know, and what you want to achive.
Buy a crashed car and move it all and make your own battery is probably what I would do.
But here we have lots of rules (:

Actually my question is, i will install a gel battery forklift with li ion conversion kit.
I know inverter, ac motor, battery. Has anyone done such a project?
