both cars' factory wideband show also and almost the same difference (0.5).
 aem wideband show also a little difference of 0.5 .thats why i say that there is difference in AFR=almost 0.5
s3 8l shows 0.95   and octavia 20vt mk1 without the true pyrometer show 1 (14,7)

i have a bam tune on my amu.
idle goes to .95 sometimes. but then it does 1 sometimes also.

does other weird stuff too.

someone else mentioned egt.
I have  halfass egt delete (cuz not all tables r defined).  If u have something like that going on then mabye look into it

As I said before, it has nothing to do with EGT, but OP will need to learn to log to find what it is.

Hello again.you were right sir. it was different versions of ecu software with different settings.BUT indeed the differences were as i said in the 2 cars. egt was one of them. Anyway
the variables i was looking for were lamkaml dlamfaw. and i managed to do what i wanted.

I am sure the cars had different tyres and wheels too. That's about as relevant to this.
