Total noob here, looking to get into the ECU tuning scene. Located in Idaho.

Have a 2001 Allroad with the 2.7t paired to a 6 speed MT. Bought it in poor condition and slowly been reviving it with my brother. It does seem to be tuned with bigger injectors, turbos and AWE intercoolers. Also has an Alcon big brake kit and Superleggera wheels.

I've always done the work on all my cars, never take them to the shop. Tires being the exception. Mostly been 4cyl turbo vehicles and have always had custom tuning done by others.
Currently trying to figure out what hardware I need to read and write to the ECU on the Allroad, seems like MPPS V.16 might be it. Then I need to figure out what software to use to edit the maps.

Any information that can be provided to get me started is appreciated, still currently searching the WWW for answers and hints. Thank you

Well good luck. Mpps should do the job easily. The answers can be found on this forum.
