Hello guys,

I'm from Germany and new to the Forum  Grin

So I have an Mk5 GTI already mapped from a good tuner to about 270hp and 440 Nm, I wanted to make pop and bang to the software but I have no tuning tool and wanted to know your experience for example with cloned tools like  Kess V2, I've read in other forums that the there are some problems with the corrected checksums and also with writing to the ECU,  so is there any favor from you or can I rechange the tuned file from my tuner at all?

Used kess v2 clone several times with med9.1 without any problems.
If you worry about checksum, correct it with winols and then write the file to the ecu .

If you want post your file and i will add pops and bangs.

Yeah thank you for your messages,

My friend has the mpps and the kess clone so I can get the file but can I rechange the tuned file or is there any protection on it?

And I also wanted to have the pops and bangs controlled at the climate button, so I can turn it on and off If I want to Cheesy

No protection on ori file.
Make stg1 with winols, correct checksum and write the file to the ecu.
