Will DTC P0030 disable fuel trims?

I've been dialing in some 1000c ev14 on ME7.5 1.8T and all the sudden my fuel trims have been disabled.  I checked NOLRA and it is stock.  Checked DTC's and P0030 HO2s bank1 Sensor 1 heater control circuit popped up.  I remember getting this DTC when I was working on disabling rear o2.  HO2S sensor 2 circuit and SAI pump were disabled a long time ago via ESCONF without errors.  Flashed stock ROM with adjustments to KRKTE and TVUB for larger injectors and got the same error and disabled fuel trims.  Maybe its coincidence the o2 sensor had malfunctioned?  I have heard some talk about o2 sensors being damaged (temp, I think) by rich AFR.  I do not think I have this problem as AFR has never been way off.  AFR is holding steady at stoich through out RPM range, even at WOT.

Anyone have any ideas?

Put new 02 sensor

Ya, that what I was thinking. Thanks For the reassurance.
This is gonna be fun.  O2 sensor is seized!

Fresh o2 sensor fixed my trims.  I did have to readjust tvub to the spec sheet settings.  Before o2 sensor went bad I had to raise tvub ~20% higher than spec sheet.
After startup with new o2 sensor I am getting DTC P0102 MAF reading low.  Could this be related to failing o2?

MAF sensor came unplugged when I removed airbox to get to o2 sensor.

Looks like my KRKTE will need adjusting also as my WOT AFR is a little low with new o2 sensor.
