So I swapped a B7 A4 from a DI FSI ea113 to a port injection ea113 06A 1.8t. The swap went fine without issue mechanically. When I connect can from the me7 ecu to the CAN network on the b7 car all works (tach, engine coolant temp etc) but the brake lights come on as soon as the ecu is powered up. If you disconnect CAN the brake lights function as normal. Here in the states the B7 did not come with a 1.8t like some of the euro cars did, I looked at some BFB files to see if there's any difference in can coding but nothing that I could find. Any Ideas?

What ABS sistem does your car have 5.7 or 8.0?
