Work in progress definition file for a AQN VR5 engine. I have MLHFM and LAMFA from PRJ's tool which look correct. KFZW was found by prj's tool but appeared wrong, so I've found that and the other maps myself using an R32 file.

Feel free to highlight any errors

LAMFA was wrong from the tool, found the actual map at 1CB96 but not sure about the load axis. Going off XDF'S and Nef, the Axis data starts with 0F 06, with the next 15 bytes being RPM. Then next 12 bytes are load, then the map starts.

So in this case, RPM Axis starts at 1CB7A, load at 1CB8A then map at 1CB96.

Is the load axis sometimes away from the Lamfa map, or does this just show that the map isn't really used in my ECU

Here

Thank you! Again LAMFA in that file has an odd axis, ranging from ~105 to ~110. Is this just the axis address being defined wrongly?

It is just a one of manner to deactivate the function LAMFAW in this ecu.
It not used in this firmware and switched off.

Here

Hello.
I try to open my ecu bin with a2l posted here, and have some troubles.
My bin is 1024kb and winols can't automatically set offsets.
If i set offset manual like winols do it automatically with archived bin, its work incorrect.
Can someone help me with?

It's work with bin you posted here.
But if i try set it on my bin, about 200 maps couldn't be open, and for example NMAX = 300.
I'm have absolutely no experience with winols, but after i'm posted my request and hours of google i find some information " you cant open a2l with another bin, only bin a2l making for".
Okay, but i have no idea how write 2048kb bin in flash 29F800BB because it have only 1048kb.
i try to find some instructions about it here on forum, but i find nothing yet.
i use nefmoto logger to read/write ecu flash.
Do you have some instructions or information about "How to" for noobs like me?

You have to make project in ols with defined file and load a2l there
And another rpoject with yours. Just a bin file wo any def

Then go to view - connect windows - right click at interesting map in defined project - show in hex and then there is a few buttons to find same region in your file etc its better to search in yourube how to use ols connected windows
Beware of 1x1 maps, check if regions around it are similar to be sure
