Hi everybody, till now i always found answers searching in this forum, but now I'm writing a new post as the search button didn't help.
I have an euro box, which i tuned about 5/6 times. Now i think it is bricked because Galletto shows me a writing error at 13%.
I have always read/write my tune on bench with a chinese Galletto 1260, grounding pin 24 on the flash.
The last time i tried to change the tune the pin 24 get phisically disconnected from the board (probably cause of my excessive force on it), causing the Galletto software to not read the "ecu number" anymore (photo attached) and finishing the write process. I doubt the cable itself is now defective, but i didn't tryed it on other ecus.
After that i brought the ecu to a electronics repair shop, which did a good job connecting again that pin, but the problem persists.
Also tryed not to ID or read ecu, directly writing but without success.
Tryed on a different usb port, a different laptop, uninstalling and installing again drivers. No success.
So everything makes me think it is bricked.
My question is: will desoldering the flash, writing the tune with a 29xxx programmer and resoldering it again solve this issue?
Eventually, can I solder a new (blank) 29f flash and trying to write it normally after that?

If you can't get it working in bootmode, swapping out the flash is unlikely to work.
