Im trying on a City Golf to program some keys, all keys lost and I am having trouble pulling the PIN/SKC from either the ecu or the cluster.
Im using VAG K+CAN commander V3.0 and the intruments say cant access, something to do with the security key?
And the ecu comes up with 0002 as the SKC but i cannot login with that with VCDS and it says session dropped and  dash says FAIL.
Its supposedly a ME7.1.1  part number 06A906012P / 06A906032RF or 06A 906 012 P 06A 906 032 RF

EEPROM is corrupt you need to use the right protocol, should be 95p08 or 95160.

However, even though the eeprom is corrupt the login should be (0)1504

I confirm, pin is 01504
at the moment, this ecu has immo off done
for posterity, this eeprom reading is not usable as a backup

for saying what should have been said about this eprom, I was rated negative
so if this Person Can Kill Anything, I wonder if he can build something himself
because I'm redundant here
greetings to all

Hey thanks for confirming the pin, I will try that out.
And I will try to look in the bin for the PIN. Where was it in this corrupt bin and where should it be?
Thanks all.

Pin code is located at a specific address same for all me7 vag ecus. Your eeprom is corrupt meaning the read was bad. Most of the bits are still there but wrong addresses and that's why I was able to still tell you the log in. However, the eeprom being corrupted makes the read worthless

Just FYI, kw1281test should support reading/writing the cluster EEPROM on these rather obscure clusters (they're mostly the same as Mk4 clusters with some minor differences).  I don't think any other tools support the clusters in these.

Helps if you read the thread... It has nothing to do with the cluster eeprom this is from the ecu... Cheesy

If it is IMMO OFF the pin is no good as you cant adapt a IMMO OFF ecu to car... ecu cluster and keys all need to be adapted together...

Quote from the original post, "having trouble pulling the PIN/SKC from either the ecu or the cluster".  I provided a way to pull the SKC from the cluster.
