Hi! Have been trying to immo off my me 7.5 from an apu engine. I think I have succeeded (can’t try it in the car since the engine swap isn’t done) with the immo off.

Now I’m trying to download the flash file but I’m doing something wrong.. I can read the file with galletto in boot mode but getting checksum errors.

Have tried using the kkl cable and nefmoto software but it doesn’t work, something like ”memory flash failed” comes up and security access was rejected..

Can I use the flash file from galletto and do a checksum correction or is it wrong?

Thankful for help

Why on earth would you

1) use me7check but not me7sum
2) take a picture of your screen with a fucking potato phone instead of just getting a screen shot
3) upload it to google instead of embedding it in post
4) not bother to *just copy/paste the text directly*?
5) entirely omit the binary

You're wasting everyone's time.

anyway, its probably on a riser.

I don’t have access to the computer right now, I’m sorry for wasting your time..

I will fix a screen shot instead. My question was if it’s safe to use the file if me7sum corrects the file?

Sorry again for doing it wrong.

I don't think that file is stock, and/or you have a riser in the ECU, or its not supported by me7check (which i never use).

ME7Sum should not find any errors in your file.

Not sure it matters much. I dont know that reading your current file successfully will get you anywhere.

Okey thanks! Will use the generic one instead.

Just wonder if I have done something wrong.. could my eeprom fiddling (immo off) make the flash file go wrong?

Maybe a track day car, but most for Sunday driving. A valve blew on the original motor so I wanted a better engine with more horsepower potential  Grin
