Hello everyone,

Can someone help me figure out how to pull the SKC code using vagdashcan on a 2004 Touareg v10tdi with kessy? I read on this forum that a member was able to do it using vagdashcan back in 2015. I messaged the person but he doesn't seem his active. I have the software up and running but everytime I try to read eepeom it resets my clauter and I get an error saying the recovery file doesn't match. I know the SKC is part of the kessy module but I don't know how to access it with the tool.
Thank you in advance.

desolder eprom 93c86 and read it with programmer , I don't think that vagdashcan can do it , maybe carprog or AVDi?

Maybe you can read it from ecu, should be EDC16U1, but vagdashcan is no stable tool...

Most likely I did. I gave up on vagdashcan and got a carprog. Im trying to read the eepeom right now and that clip is garbage. Keep getting corrupt reading due to bad connection. I just got a new clip. I'm gonna try the new clip.

I did a in circuit read with the carprog. I checked pins 5 and 6 and they were shorted which I read means it's in 8 bit mode. I read the chip in 8 bit mode and it verified that I was read correctly. I can also see my correct vin on address 120. Now that I have the hin file, is there a program or a site I can use to calculate the logging pin for my Kessy? I don't trust the pin that carprog gives me since I tried that code and it Vagcom won't accept it.
