Well, subaru ecus suck, and me7 sucks less and is free soo. In our spare time we (me) converted the car to me7. We used a 60-2 trigger wheel that was bought off ebay and a cam sensor that I mounted external of the cam cover.

First start on me7 with no cam sensor, no maf sensor, no coolant temp sensor, Luckily it phased on the correct stroke  Cheesy Cheesy

The original crank trigger wheel was a cheap ebay sheet metal (16awg) and has some runout due to it being poorly mounted by me lol. Sense we have gotten a better one and is being remade as we speak Wink

Hello interesting project. I know it's been a while but didn't the me7 ecu care that the trigger wheel wasn't original and isnt the original trigger wheel bigger? Aren't they mounted on the flywheel?
