Hi all!

I’m swapping an a3 8l 1.8t auq to dsg, all is good but i have no reverse signal, i found on the internet that i can put the signal to pin 12 in the connector trough the software. Can someone confirm that? If yes can anyone help me with the addres? I guess 05372 ‘selection switch for gear selection in R’ but i don’t know what to change it to or if its even correct.

Also, what program do you use for the dsg tuning? I have the winols free, but can’t export and won’t use it much so don’t want to spend all the $ on a one time thing.
I’m happy to pay if someone wants to do it for me tho

You need an old mechatronic unit with one letter at the end, for e.g., 02E927770 E, or a bit newer 02E927770 AD. Only these have analog outputs for vehicle speed, reverse etc.
Otherwise, you can make yourself reverse signal using a 12v timer module connected to the PRNDS indicator led's.
