Hello,
Has any one got any information on 'DBW throttle with cable response' that some tuners are offering.
I gather there must be some maps to tweak to sharpen up the slow throttle response on the DBW

typical response, nye!
basically linearizing the pedal map so that it takes more pedal travel to get equivalent throttle movement. great for track use or for someone who doesn't like the touchy pedal. they don't sell well cause most people drive it and think the car is slower since they actually have to push the pedal more. also, MED9 has many throttle 'tightness' maps that control rate of change of throttle body. those are quickened over factory.

Setting the requested air charge to match LDRXN earlier in KFMIRL map would do the trick I guess(?)

Ok... So good or bad. Can the throttle be 'sharpened' up? Can some one point me in the the right direction.. Or has it been tried and tested.. And failed

If by sharp you mean "terrible"... yes.

KFPED if you want to alter your pedal vs throttle relationship its very non-linear as std I have reverted mrs lupo to linear and its so much smoother to drive now.. almost 1:1 on map now.

As above make KFPED 1:1, but you might want to advance it a little at the points where you pull off in first gear to give a little DBW feel assistance.
I have been working on this with some Focus ST owners who have throttle pedals like on/off switchs, so far the results as very good better drivability and one guy seeing around 50mile extra per tank of fuel..
