i have a few motorsport customers with Mk7 GTis running Simos 18.
They're all crying out for a pitlane limiter solution..
I'm not exactly sure, but I think Seat-sport are doing this on their factory race cars with either a CCS or ACC CAN message to limit the car's speed, however all these messages are checked by CRC8.
I've spent a bit of time trying to figure out if i can either turn off the CRC check within the ECU so i can send my own messages, or create a suitable message with a Teensy with Autosar CRC8, that's the bit i'm struggling with.
If anyone thinks they could take this on, either to create a routine within the ecu to respond to a can message, or to work out a module to spoof CCS messages i'm all ears and happy to work with you and pay for a solution.
Thanks
