Hi there!

I'm new to the topic of ECU flashing because of a big problem with this crappy Alientech Powergate.

A4 Cabrio, 2003, 1,8t BFB manual, Bosch ME7.5, 8E0909518AL 026208228 Think? 0003

Long story short
-Ordered Flasher to have the ability to switch between original and stage 1, never done sth before
-Read the File from the car, send to "tuner", got Stage 1 back
-Flash goes wrong, car won't start, 1 day before vacation
-organised spare ECU, car starts normal but immo
-drove to service partner 300km, said he fixed both ECU (orignal and spare), didn't work, go on vacation with another car
-back home, updated this Powergate sh*t, still couldn't write ECU nor contact with VCDS

Car only starts 1x with the spare ECU after battery off for 10minutes

FINALY found this forum and the NM ECU Flasher with an old blue OBD cable and could flash the original and spare ECU with a .bin File (518AK.bin) and the car starts up several times.

Is there a chance to convert this reading from this Alientech Tool in a .bin File I could write back?

Sorry if I'm understanding sth. wrong, but I'm pretty happy to get the car back alive by myself and need support from the pros :-)

Thanks in advance,
Daniel

This is a DIY site, not "support from the pros".

Your solution is to find a new tuner and trash the Powergate.
If they were so shit that they couldn't even fix sums on your file, then that file is e-waste.
There is zero value in that file.

Go to paid services and ask there, you can do everything with nef flasher.
