Your question is vague.  Start with providing information.  We would accept scattered than not providing any information at all.

1. Why are you trying to code/program the ECU?
2. Which ECU's are you trying to program?
3. Do you know how an engine works?
I ask # 3 because well, think of your ECU as a mass of switches for switching on and off parts of the engine.  And if you were directed to all those switches and didn't know what parts of the engine you were switching on and off or how they work and then switched the wrong switch or wrong combination of switches capoowwwww! Engine blown!! oh no!!, You've broken down and was on a date.  There's no way your getting laid tonight.  She's mad as hell having to push your Audi 5000!! No sex means no kids, no marriage, have to go home all alone watching Dallas Debbie.   So for the sake of your future children and your future wife who's going to be asking YOU, YES YOU! A LOT OF questions, please provide some information.
