Hello all couple of years back i did a manual swap on my Allroad 4.2 and used 6 speed 01E.
Company that supplied the kit from USA also flashed my original ECU i sent them but with a file from s4 i believe as i was not told what they did.
Of course no cruise control and evap pump dtc and a couple other minor codes.
Decided to install an s4 ecu from 6 speed to see if that would be better. Obtained sku and adapted said s4 ecu 8E0 560 and been running that since no problems except no cruise control and couple minor codes only eg exhaust flap and steering wheel buttons etc no evap code so that was great.
Thought about time to see if i can get cruise working and decided to try an S6 4D0907559E ecu i stumbled across.
all my ecu are ME7.1.1
Obtained skc and adapted 559e ecu no problem there but engine cranks and will no fire up. No codes with vcds which i thought was odd but there maybe pinout differences between S6 and Allroad ecu and why engine does not run.
If anyone knows way to get this ecu run that would be helpfull by the way.

So though no drama continue to read the 559E file and save and swap allroad ecu into car and flash the 559e file.
Well stuffed that up i did as memory layout did not authenticate and as i got up to go into the other room and check online on other computer a fix for this i knocked my marble mouse and it clicked on ok flash anyway!! Result no no vcds or nefmoto flasher connections.
This was end of my log if anyone know what i did wrong.15/Oct/2023 09:58:12.154: LOG: Sent message with service ID RequestRoutineResultsByLocalIdentifier

I now will have to bootmode to recover ecu and want to know should i use the eeprom from the 559E ecu or my original Allroad eeprom?
Any help for anything above would be appreciated.
This may take some time due to work constraints. Cheers Veeone

Forgot to mention when the S6 ecu is connected when the ignition is switched on the cooling fans start up and then increase to full power as well as cranking and not starting. Still weird no codes at all. Cheers V1
